Service Fosse Septique
If the house you are Renovating is not connected to the mains drains or has an old, outsized fosse and your village does not have mains drainage available then you are going to need a new Fosse Septique (Septic Tank).
These are widespread in all regions of France and the EU has finally tightened the regulations on them, in line with other countries. However, this has now introduced much more paperwork during the request to instal a Fosse Septique. It is now much more like a Planning Application.
