Gite Registration
From the 1st July 2010 all gite owners need to register their Gite with the local Prefecture of the department. This new ruling from the Department of Tourism has been explained as an improvement in the Tourist Information available to holiday makers in France.A Piece of Burgundy can organise, complete and hand in this paperwork for you at your Mairie. The service is FREE and could save you a heavy fine, which the goverment has set at upto 450 €s for owners that do not register the gite correctly.
