TERMS & CONDITIONS
For Accommodation Rentals

Please read the General Conditions below and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

General Terms & Conditions
~ Within these terms and conditions the terms 'we', 'us' or 'the company' refers to A Piece of Burgundy, a French registered company with offices in England and France.
~ The prices quoted by us within the gite listings on this site are stated individually in Euros or Pound sterling.
~ The prices quoted by conversion in other currencies are a guide only, check the current exchange rate closer to the time of purchase for more accurate pricing.
~ The Damage Waiver is paid to the Gite owner at their discretion to cover damage or costs incurred during your stay.
~ Damage found by us or the owner will be confirmed with you prior to your Damage Waiver being used, all previous damage must be notified to us or the owner on your day of arrival.
~ A Piece of Burgundy cannot be held responsible for lost bookings or costs incurred if a booking direct with the owner is not honored.
~ Gites with Online Booking with A Piece of Burgundy are guaranteed upon reception of our Confirmation e-mail and cannot be altered, moved or transferred without written confirmation from us, at our discretion.
~ Signing the Gite Management Services agreement signifies agreement with our Payment Terms and Conditions for each of the services below.
~
General Terms & Conditions for Advertisers
~ Within these terms and conditions the terms 'we', 'us' or 'the company' refers to A Piece of Burgundy, a British company with offices in England and France.
~ All information provided in your descriptions must be accurate, true and verifiable by us.
~ Any discrepancies will be removed from the site without notice or recourse to compensation
~ Advertisements will be placed on the site after full payment has been received for the services subscribed to and will run for 1 year.
~ The FREE 3 month Trial starts from the date your advertisement is received and runs for 90 days thereafter, unless payment is received for a new subscription period
~ Online bookings are made via us and will be confirmed with you via e-mail. All online bookings via us must be honored uunless you have previously informed us that that period booked is unavailable.
Change Over service
~The change over day will be recorded on your Gite Management Services account information. If the day changes we need 14 days notice of the new change over day. This also applies to changes in the time period for the change over.
~ Any changes to the information recorded, such as items in the inventory, must be notified to us at least 7 days prior to the next change over.
~ Confirmation of the change over service being required on a certain week must be received by us at least 5 days prior to the date, by e-mail
~ The Gite linen and towels will be cleaned and dried, the house tidied and left in the agreed condition before guests arrive and the Inventory checked to ensure all items are present.
~ If you collect a Damage Waiver from your guests we will report if we find damage or loss following their stay. This will be posted on the web site or sent by e-mail within 48 hours of the change over.
~ Payment must be received, at our offices or bank account within 5 days of the change over by cheque or transfer in your chosen currency. Late payments will incur a late fee of 5€ per day and subsequent services may be withdrawn until payùment is received.
Inspection Service
~ If an inspection is needed in place of a Change Over, notification must reach us 7 days priors to the date required.
~ The Gite will be checked for changes in condition since the last change over undertaken.
~ If significant cleaning is required then a Change Over fee could be required, at our discretion.
Welcome Packs
~ The pack will be delivered to the Gite on the day of arrival, usually the day of the Change Over.
~ The contents may vary due to seasonal variations but the value and range will remain constant.
~ Products requiring refrigeration will be placed within the refirgerater at the Gite which must be good operating condition.
~ The Pack will not be charged to the guests and must be paid for by the Gite owner within 5 days of the pack being delivered by cheque or transfer in your chosen currency. Late payments will incur a late fee of 5€ per day and subsequent services may be withdrawn until payùment is received.
