Winter Water System Care
The winters in Burgundy can be very cold, often with -20 °C in February. This can cuse major problems in Maison Secondaires if the water system and central heating systems are not completely fdry before the worst weather arrives.With years of experience in the different water systems we can offer you a service of emptying and checking your house to ensure that it has no problems with leaks, split pipes or broken hot tanks due to the winter weather. This is a one off charge and visit that can be requested at any time.

Translations
If you recieve a letter or document that you cannot read sufficiently, or needs to be understood very well a full tranlation may be required. You can send the document to us by post, e-mail or fax and we will translate it fully within 3 days of receipt and e-mail back the english version to you.Larger documents can be translated, for example asbestos reports or insurancce policies but please bear in mind that some reports (such as the Compromis de Vente) are actually made up of around 4 documents. For these larger documents we can price the translation individually. Also, Legal documents can be translated but if you wish to have a certified legal translation we recommend that you use a certified translator from your country.

Bill Paying Service
If you do not have a Euro Account in France but need to pay your Artisans bills or buy supplies from French you can transfer the required money to us in your chosen currency and we will forward the payment for you in Euros. This service is offered through our British Bank and is a very cost effective way of ensuring that the monies required for your Renovations are paid in good time.The amount required in your chosen currency is calculated by A Piece of Burgundy. Terms and Conditions apply, this service cannot be used during House Purchase Transactions. All of our Packages can be purchased in £s; Sterling, Euros or US Dollars and do not need to use this Paying Service.
